NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland awarded a one-year contract option to ASRC Aerospace Corp. of Greenbelt, Md., for engineering and scientific services. The one-year extension has a not-to-exceed value of $50 million, NASA said in an Aug. 18 press release.

The contract covers engineering and scientific support services at Glenn and NASA’s Plum Brook Station test facility in Sandusky, Ohio.

The modification increases the total value of ASRC’s contract to $260 million. The extension, which begins Sept. 1 and runs through Aug. 31, 2011, is the last of three one-year options included in ASRC’s original 2006 contract, NASA said.
