NASA awarded IAP World Services Inc. of Cape Canaveral, Fla., a contract worth up to $101.8 million to provide facilities maintenance services at the agency’s Ames Research Center in Mountain View, Calif., NASA announced Sept. 21.

Under the contract, the majority of which is firm fixed-price work, IAP World Services will respond to trouble calls, perform preventative maintenance and help protect Ames facilities against adverse weather conditions.

The three-year contract begins Oct. 1. Two one-year options could extend the deal to late 2015.
