SAIC of McLean, Va., was awarded a NASA contract worth up to $46.1 million to provide information technology support for a variety of aircraft flight operations across the agency, NASA announced Nov. 16.

The NASA Aircraft Management Information System is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a three-year base period and two one-year options. The contract is managed by Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Services to be performed under the contract include modifications to the existing aircraft management software infrastructure and other flight crew operations systems, NASA said in a press release.
