NASA on March 2 issued a request for proposals for software services for the agency’s Independent Verification and Validation Facility (IV&V) in Fairmont, W.Va.
The work currently is being performed by L3 Services Group of Alexandria, Va., and TASC Inc. of Chantilly, Va., according to NASA spokeswoman Beth Dickey.
The competition is being managed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. Bids are due April 5. NASA anticipates making a single award in September.
