Computer Sciences Corp. will continue supporting supercomputing activities at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, Calif., through March 2011 under a $57 million one-year contract extension, the U.S. space agency announced March 29.
The contract also covers any supercomputing support services Computer Sciences Corp. may provide to the NASA Center for Computational Sciences facility at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., as well as additional high-performance computing support at other agency field centers.
The contract, originally awarded in 2007, could be worth $597 million if all options are exercised.
