NASA said March 22 it had selected four Texas firms to perform up to $49 million worth of architecture and engineering services at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, nearby Ellington Field and the Sonny Carter Training Center, and the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.
The five-year firm, fixed-priced contracts were awarded to HDR Architecture of Dallas and three Houston-based companies: PDG Architects; Reynolds, Smith and Hills Inc.; and URS Group Inc.
The services will include feasibility studies, conceptual designs, engineering reports, budget estimates, etc., for new construction and refurbishment projects at the Johnson-managed facilities.
