Arctic Slope Regional Corp. of Greenbelt, Md., will continue providing engineering and scientific support to NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland under a one-year contract option valued at $50 million, NASA announced Aug. 31.

The extension, which began Sept. 1, is the second of three one-year options under the contract, originally awarded in August 2006. The contract’s total value is now $200 million, NASA said.

The work will be performed at Glenn’s Lewis Field and Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio. The services will support activities in aeronautics, microgravity, space exploration, and space power and propulsion, NASA said.
