NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi awarded Jacobs Technology Inc. of Tullahoma, Tenn., a one-year contract option worth $51.8 million to continue supporting NASA missions and more than 30 federal and state agencies that share or use Stennis facilities and services.
The award announced Aug. 24 is the third of seven one-year options NASA has exercised since selecting Jacobs in August 2007 for the Facility Operating Services Contract, a 10-year agreement to provide administration, facility engineering, food, mail, fire protection, custodial, multimedia, public affairs and education support services. Jacobs also provides facility maintenance and operations; safety, quality and environmental assurance; medical and occupational health; and logistics and transportation services.
