ADNET Systems of Rockville, Md., was awarded a five-year contract worth $249 million to support Earth and space science research and development at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., the U.S. space agency announced Aug. 27.

The cost-plus, fixed-fee contract, which starts Oct. 1, includes one base year and four one-year options. NASA said ADNET Systems will provide a range of services that include data operations, information system technologies, engineering, and education and public outreach.
