Houston-based Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) will continue supporting safety and mission assurance activities at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Houston, for at least another year under a contract extension the U.S. space agency announced April 25.
The one-year extension includes two additional six-month options for a total potential value of $73.8 million.
Work under the Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services contract will be performed at Johnson, Kennedy Space Center in Florida and the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.
SAIC’s significant subcontractors include ARES Corp. of Houston; Engle Technologies of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Florida International University in Miami; Futron Corp. of Bethesda, Md.; GHG of Houston; J&P Technologies of Houston; JES Tech of Houston; and Millennium Engineering and Integration Co. of Arlington, Va.
