On Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. EDT, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut and Commander of the NEEMO 14 mission Chris Hadfield, will be talking with 1500 students from Quebec, Ontario and Alberta while physically located about 20 metres underwater in the Aquarius habitat off the Florida Keys. 150 students will be gathered at the CSA’s John H. Chapman centre in Longueuil, Quebec, and will be connected with both the other students and the underwater habitat via videoconference.
Journalists are invited to attend the event at the CSA. Media may also attend the event at the other locations where students will be gathered. (see list below)
