NASA said March 12 it had awarded a contract worth up to $25 million to Gainesville, Fla.-based civil engineering firm Jones Edmunds & Associates Inc. to spend the next five years helping the U.S. space agency repair and modernize the infrastructure at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, and overseas emergency space shuttle landing sites.
Projects covered under the terms of the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract include the design of sewage treatment facilities, road repair, parking facilities, storm water management and utilities.
