On March 13, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Chris Hadfield will become the first Canadian ever to assume command of the International Space Station (ISS), a historic milestone for our country.
A transfer of command ceremony will be conducted aboard the ISS. NASA Commander Ford will pass responsibility for the Station on to CSA Commander Hadfield. The crew will ring the ceremonial bell to mark the official change between Expedition 34 to Expedition 35.
The transfer of command will be broadcast live on the CSA Website.
