Media representatives are invited to the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for the launch of NASA’s space shuttle Endeavour with Canadian astronaut Dave Williams aboard. The launch is set for August 7, 2007 at 7:02 p.m. CSA Astronaut Steve MacLean will be on site to highlight this event with CSA employees and their families.

Mission STS-118 continues assembly missions for completion of the International Space Station. This is astronaut Williams’ second space flight. During this flight, he will perform three spacewalks, install the S5 truss segment and perform a Canadian experiment.

Journalists who cannot be on site at CSA will be able to watch the event live on our Web site at www.space.gc.ca/media.
