Dnepr LV with two experimental satellites of Japanese Space Agency is to be launched from Baikonur in the mid-August.
OICETS, one of the satellites, was delivered to Baikonur today – informed O. Urusov, spokesman of FSC Baikonur. First, the satellite was transported to Yubileyny aerodrome from Ulyanovsk aboard AN-124 airplane (Ruslan), and then to the Assembly & Test Facility of Site 31 on Baikonur where it will be prepared for launch.
Delivery of the second Japanese satellite INDEX is expected in the mid-June.
Launch of Dnepr, as in case with all previous launches of this conversion rocket, will be carried out from the shaft launcher of Site 109.
