Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. of Israel said Oct. 8 that it had been chosen by Panama’s largest telecommunications operator, Cable & Wireless Panama, to provide a SkyEdge 2 network that will be used to deliver broadband Internet to hundreds of schools in remote areas.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
