CNES has published on its website a list of young traineeships opportunities available in 2003 in all its establishments, including at Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
A total of 34 traineeships will be offered at Kourou in 2003. These will cover many different disciplines in order to reflect the variety of work carried out at the spaceport such as quality assurance, instrumentation, control, safety, power generation, maintenance, telecommunications etc. A brochure giving more details on all these placements will be released soon.
Non-French European applications are welcome, however, because of the limited number of placements available, any interest should be indicated as soon as possible in order to have a good chance of being considered in due time.
