Virgin Galactic has hired a senior NASA space shuttle official to serve as the New Mexico-based suborbital spaceflight company’s vice president of operations, according to an Oct. 11 press release.
The new hire, Michael P. Moses, served at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida as launch integration manager from 2008 until the final shuttle mission in July. Prior to that, he was a flight director at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
