VIDEO | NASA’s NPP Sees Aftermath of the Chelyabinsk Meteor

The meteor that exploded above Chelyabinsk, Russia, Feb. 15, 2013, was not only captured by video cameras but also by the OMPS instrument on NASA’s NPP satellite, which helped to deliver unprecedented data and help scientists track and study the meteor plume for months.
