The Aerospace Corp., a federally funded research and development center, is announcing changes in some of its leadership positions.

Charles L. “Chuck” Gustafson has been promoted to senior vice president of the Engineering and Technology Group. The change is slated to take place April 1, upon the retirement of Rami Razouk, who is now at that position.

Taking Gustafson’s previous position as general manager for the Vehicle Systems Division will be Jeffrey L. Emdee.

Eric K. Hall, principal director for the Atlas 5 Directorate, will take over duties as general manager of the Launch Systems Division from Emdee.
Also, the Aerospace Corp. announced the retirements of John E. McLaughlin and Robert S. Walker from its board of trustees.

McLaughlin had served on the board since June 8, 2006. The former deputy director of the CIA is a distinguished practitioner in residence at the Philip Merrill Center for Strategic Studies in the Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.

Walker had served from 1997 to 2005 and again from March 9, 2007. He is the executive chairman of Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates, a government relations firm. He also represented Pennsylvania in the U.S. House for 20 years.
