Clarksburg, Md.-based Thales Communications said Dec. 6 it has agreed to acquire Tampa Microwave, a privately owned Florida company specializing in tactical satellite communications terminals.
Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the deal, which is subject to U.S. regulatory approval.
Thales Communications, a U.S. subsidiary of Paris-based Thales, said it expects to deal to close in the first quarter of 2012.
