A Russian Soyuz capsule docked with the international space station June 9, delivering three spaceflyers to their new home for the next five-and-a-half months.

NASA astronaut Mike Fossum, Japanese astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov reached the station two days after launching from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan atop a Soyuz rocket.

The arrival of the new crew members brings the population of the station back up to six people.
