The NAI extends its congratulations to Dr. Chris House of the Pennsylvania State University (PSU) Team. House has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Geosciences. House began his career as an undergraduate at the NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training (NSCORT) in Exobiology at UC San Diego, and continued graduate work at UCLA under Bill Schopf, before accepting his initial position at PSU.
House is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the fields of microbial biogeochemistry and ecology and genomic paleontology. He is also a versatile and talented educator, highly effective in the classroom, as well as a dedicated advisor and mentor of graduate and undergraduate students. Congratulations, Chris.
