NASDA participates in the Third World Water Forum held in Kyoto between March 16 through 23 proposing some ideas such as the “global-scale precipitation observation plan” by earth observation satellites including Midori-II. The plan is expected to contribute to the areas of improving weather forecast accuracy, early warning of floods and droughts, water resource management, and food planning.

In addition, NASDA is presenting exhibitions at the Forum to show our activities to tackle global environmental problems. Please stop by.
