NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland will kick off its free public tour season in April by showcasing one world-class aerospace test facility per month through October.
n celebration of the Apollo 50th anniversary, this year’s tours will highlight the center’s contributions to Apollo and NASA’s future missions to the Moon.
The first tour, on April 13, features the Graphics and Visualization Lab where Glenn researchers use virtual and augmented reality display devices for engineering, research and outreach. On this tour, guests will be treated to virtual reality demonstrations, including the “Apollo 11 Virtual Reality Experience,” which shows what it was like for Neil Armstrong when he accomplished the 20th century’s most enduring achievement.

- Reservations are required in advance and can be made up to 30 days prior to the actual tour.
- Visitors are encouraged to register as early as possible as tours fill up quickly and a limited number of spaces are available.
