NASA Tacks Extra Year onto CSC’s Shared Services Deal

NASA will pay an additional $41 million to extend its contract with Computer Science Corp. (CSC) in Falls Church, Va., for information technology services across the agency’s field centers.

The one-year contract extension requires CSC to continue its supporting NASA’s Shared Services Center program through Sept. 30, 2012, according to NASA.

CSC provides financial management, human resources, procurement and information technology services as part of a partnership between NASA and the states of Mississippi and Louisiana.

The Shared Services Center partnership brings in companies to provide such business services for the agency’s 10 centers.
