Alan Stern, associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington, will host a media teleconference at 1 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, Aug. 1. Stern will discuss plans for NASA’s Cassini mission to make an unusually close encounter with Saturn’s geyser-moon Enceladus and provide project updates for a variety of science flight programs.
