(NASDAQ:LORL) announced today that, in response to certain shareholders’ recent expressions of interest in participating in its financing plans, it has requested that MHR Fund Management LLC consider proposing an alternative to the recently announced $300 million equity financing transaction that would include the participation of all interested shareholders. MHR has indicated to Loral that it is pleased with the interest shown by shareholders and that its response will be forthcoming.
