Lockheed Martin signed a $12.5 million, one-year subcontract with Northrop Grumman to refurbish re-entry vehicle arming and fuzing assemblies for the U.S. Air Force’s Minuteman 3 ICBMs, according to a Lockheed statement.
Lockheed Martin Space Systems’ King of Prussia, Pa., facility will replace components, refurbish and test the assemblies. Lockheed is the original equipment manufacturer for the arming and fuzing assembly.
