Evry, May 24, 2006. Following an equipment alert on the launch vehicle, Arianespace decided to conduct complementary checks. Upon the successful completion of these checks, Arianespace has decided to restart the final countdown for its mission with the SATMEX 6 and THAICOM 5 satellites.
Liftoff of the Ariane 5 ECA launcher is now set for the night of Saturday, May 27 at the opening of the following launch window:
- From 6:09 p.m. to 6:54 p.m., local time in Kourou, French Guiana
- From 5:09 p.m. to 5:54 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
- From 21h09 to 21h54 GMT
- From 11:09 p.m. to 11:54 p.m. in Paris.
