Intelsat, Ltd. today announced that it has appointed KPMG LLP to serve as
its independent auditor for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2002. The
appointment of KPMG LLP to replace Arthur Andersen LLP as Intelsat, Ltd.’s
auditor is subject to the approval of Intelsat, Ltd.’s shareholders at a
meeting to be held on 4 June 2002.
