GMV of Spain will provide the satellite control center for Thaicom’s Thaicom 6 telecommunications satellite now being built by Dulles, Va.-based Orbital Sciences Corp. for a mid-2013 launch aboard a Space Exploration Technologies Falcon 9 rocket.
GMV’s contract with satellite fleet operator Thaicom of Thailand was announced April 24. Financial terms were not disclosed.
