General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies on Jan. 19 said it received a $40.7 million contract from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to build two additional 34-meter beam waveguide antennas at the U.S. space agency’s Deep Space Network facility in Canberra, Australia.
The new antennas, designated Deep Space Station 35 and 36, are scheduled for completion by 2014 and 2016, respectively.
