ESA Science Programme Communication Service intends to recruit two journalists, working part-time and off-site.
The ESA Science Programme has been extending its outreach through an
increased effort in communication and provision of information about the
Programme and its missions.
The Science Programme Communication Service is supported in its communication activities by freelance
journalists.

Candidates should have profound knowledge of Space Science and Technology and be experienced in scientific journalism and scientific communication activities. An excellent knowledge of English is required. Journalists must be nationals of one of the fifteen ESA Member states.

For the managment of the journalist’s contract ESA uses a prime contractor, which will handle all contractual and adminstrative matters. The ‘Statement of Work’ document listed under ‘Useful Links’ gives a detailed job description and the required qualifiactions.
