Marc Garneau, President of the
Canadian Space Agency will address the fifth and final public hearing of the
Presidential Commission on Moon, Mars and Beyond, May 4, 11:15 a.m., at The
Asia Society in New York City, 725 Park Avenue. Dr. Garneau has been
invited to comment on Canada’s partnership in the International Space
Station.

Commission members will hold a televised news conference and answer
questions from the media after deliberations conclude at 3:45 p.m. The
Commissioners will offer their findings in a public session at 4:30 p.m.

The Commission proceedings will be broadcast live via NASA TV (NASA
Television coordinates: satellite AMC 9; Transponder 9C, 85 degrees west
longitude; vertical polarization downlink frequency of 3880 MHz; audio is at
