Boeing Co. said Nov. 14 that it is moving to a new office complex near NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and the U.S. Army’s Redstone Arsenal as it consolidates several locations in the Huntsville, Ala., area.

The Chicago-based company recently signed a development agreement for 33,700 square meters of office space in a Boeing-named, three-building complex located at Redstone Gateway. Boeing is scheduled to occupy the first building in spring 2013; construction of the second and third buildings is expected to begin by the end of 2012 and be completed by spring 2014.

Boeing’s Huntsville-based programs include the Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and other missile defense work for the U.S. military and the Space Launch System heavy-lift rocket for NASA.
