Boeing will provide systems design, development and testing services for the U.S. Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) as part of a contractor team lead by Northrop Grumman Corp., Chicago-based Boeing announced Jan. 12. The value of the work was not disclosed.

Part of the Army’s modernization effort, IBCS is meant to integrate current and future air and missile defense systems into a common battle command system expected to be fielded by 2014.
