As a major sponsor of this week’s Asia Pacific Satellite Communications Systems International Conference – APSAT 2014 – Arianespace is underscoring its important role in the dynamic Asia-Pacific region, including the company’s strong partnership with Indonesia.
Arianespace’s active presence in the Asia-Pacific region was highlighted by Richard Bowles, Managing Director of Arianespace’s Singapore ASEAN Office, during this industry gathering’s satellite executive roundtable – which focused on the topic: “Increasing Satellite Business Value through Strategic Innovation.”
Arianespace and Indonesia have established a long-lasting relationship with the company having signed five launch contracts with Indonesian operators, including this April’s agreement with BRI for the BRIsat spacecraft – which is scheduled to be lofted from the Spaceport in French Guiana by a heavy-lift Ariane 5 vehicle.
Held this year at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Jakarta, APSAT 2014 is the 13th annual international conference hosted by ASSI (the Indonesian Satellite Association) to encourage and support development of the Asia-Pacific region’s satellite industry, particularly in Indonesia.
