On the night of Friday, June 24 to Saturday, June 25, 2005, Arianespace will use an Ariane 5 ECA to launch the Spaceway 2 and Telkom 2 spacecraft. The launch window will open:
– from 09:03 pm to 09:36 pm , Kourou time, on Friday, June 24,
– from 02:03 am to 02:36 am, Paris time, on Saturday, June 25.
Spaceway 2 (6116 kg at liftoff) will be launched for the American operator DirecTV and will provide direct television services for the United States.
Telkom 2 (1975 kg at liftoff) will be launched for the Indonesian operator PT Telkom Indonesia and will provide telecommunications services to Indonesia.
