ESA’s Director General Jean-Jacques Dordain will meet the press at ESA’s headquarters in Paris on Friday 14 January 2011.

This traditional rendezvous will begin at 08:30 with breakfast, followed at 09:00 by a press briefing to go over the Agency’s activities of the year just ended and take a look at the events planned for 2011.
The highlights of the year will include the launch and docking of the second Automated Transfer Vehicle; the missions of two ESA astronauts, Roberto Vittori and Andre Kuipers, to the International Space Station, as well as the continuation of the long-duration mission of Paolo Nespoli; the launch of the first satellites of the Galileo operational system; the first lift-off of Soyuz from Kourou, and the maiden flight of Vega.
