Loral’s special meeting of stockholders is being held for the purpose of discussing company affairs, as well as the company’s third quarter results, which will be issued after the market close on November 13th, 2006. No proposals have been submitted to stockholders for action at this meeting, and, accordingly, the Company is not soliciting proxies in connection with the meeting.
