exactEarth Ltd. (TSX: XCT) (“exactEarth” or the “Company”), announced the results of the matters voted upon at the Company’s 2018 annual meeting (the “Meeting”) of the shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) held earlier today, which included the election of directors, as described below.
In addition to the election of each of the director nominees outlined in detail below, Ernst & Young LLP was re-appointed as auditor of the Company and amendments to the Company’s Share Unit Plan were approved. According to proxies received and a vote by ballot, the voting results in respect of each of the following seven director nominees all of whom, other than Harvey Rein, previously served as directors of the Company, were as follows:
The total number of common shares of the Company (“Common Shares”) represented by Shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the Meeting was an aggregate of 10,040,633, representing 46.43% of the Company’s issued and outstanding Common Shares.
