Lighting Science Group Corp. of Satellite Beach, Fla., said Nov. 19 it had signed a two-year agreement with NASA’s Kennedy Space Center to jointly develop an LED light fixture for space travel.
The agreement calls for development of a lighting fixture prototype designed to meet the demands of spaceflight, including vibration, off-gassing, electromagnetic interference and other spacecraft issues, the company said in a press release.
