WASHINGTON — The U.S. Air Force has postponed the launch of a military communications satellite that was scheduled from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida the evening of May 23.
Launch provider United Launch Alliance (ULA) reported on its Twitter feed that the launch was scrubbed because of “an issue associated w/a ground support system helium pressurization line.”
The satellite, the fifth Wideband Global Satcom satellite, was scheduled to launch aboard a ULA Delta 4 rocket.
The launch has been rescheduled for 8:27 p.m. Eastern time May 24.
