Globecomm Systems Inc. of Hauppauge, N.Y., said Jan. 5 it received a $9.1 million contract extension from NATO to extend communication services and on-site support for a previously deployed GPS-based force tracking system.
Globecomm deployed the system, which provides NATO with high levels of tracking data and messaging traffic to enable tracking of its personnel and other multinational forces, under previously announced contracts worth approximately $35 million.
