The U.S. Air Force has awarded SAIC of San Diego a sole-source contract worth $7.9 million to continue supporting GPS systems engineering and integration activities at the Space and Missile Systems Center in Los Angeles, the Defense Department announced Sept. 4.
Work under the contract is expected to be completed by March 6, 2014, the Pentagon said.
