February 8, 2012 — Yuri’s Night, the World Space Party, has officially opened registration for 2012 Yuri’s Night events and parties. Building on the 2012 Yuri’s Night theme of ‘Make an Impact,’ this year promises to offer more events in more places throughout the world and in space.
“As of this moment, folks from around the world are able to register their Yuri’s Night events for 2012,” said Jeffrey Alles, Director of Digital Operations for Yuri’s Night. “While we’re launching a bit later than usual, we’re very excited to see the reaction so far and we expect Yuri’s Night 2012 to be the biggest Space Party ever.” According to Alles, the first official registration was for an event in Strasbourg, France, celebrating Yuri’s Night alongside the 25th anniversary of the International Space University.
Event organizers can register their events at http://register.yurisnight.net/. Registration is free and open to space enthusiasts planning events all over the world.
