Washington, DC — Women in Aerospace (WIA) is pleased to announce the selection of five new members to their board of directors. In addition to selecting new members, the board also elected Debra Facktor Lepore, AirLaunch, as their 2009 chair and Cindy Malawy, The Boeing Company, as vice-chair.
The newly approved board members are:
- Sandra C. Coleman, Director for NASA Exploration Programs, ATK Washington Operations;
- William B. Gail, Director of Strategic Development, Public Sector Product Group, Microsoft Corporation;
- Madhulika Guhathakurta;
- F. Suzanne Jenniches, Vice President and General Manager, Government Systems Division, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Systems; and,
- John Tylko, Vice President, Aurora Flight Sciences
This distinguished line-up joins WIA’s current board members Deborah Alderson, SAIC; Alan Ladwig, Whitney, Bradley & Brown; Laurie Leshin; Rosanna Sattler, Posternak, Blankstein & Lund LLP; Kay Sears, Intelsat General; Carol Staubach, Booz Allen Hamilton; Kathy Tamer, United Space Alliance; Bruce Wald, ITT; and, Annalisa Weigel, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
