The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and Federal Geographic Data Committee are seeking proposals for more than $1.3 million in grants the civilian mapping agency intends to award in 2010 to fund innovative projects of value to the geospatial data community.
Proposals for the 2010 National Spatial Data Infrastructure Cooperative Agreements Program are due Jan. 7, with awards to be announced in February.
The USGS and the Federal Geographic Data Committee expect to make an estimated 31 awards aimed at developing partnerships and building new or improving existing geospatial infrastructure.
