NASA and The University of Arizona will hold a televised news briefing on Wednesday, June 4, at 11 a.m. PDT (2 p.m. EDT), to present the latest news from NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander mission, which touched down on the Red Planet on May 25.
The briefing will take place at the UA’s Science Operations Center, and will be carried live on NASA TV’s Media Channel only, and will also be Webcast. The Media Channel is available on an MPEG-2 digital C-band signal via satellite on AMC 6, Transponder 17C in continental North America. In Alaska and Hawaii, it is available on AMC 7, Transponder 18C. To view the Webcast, go to www.nasa.gov/ntv and click on Media Channel.
Briefing participants will include Peter Smith, Phoenix principal investigator from the UA, and other team members.
